There are 2 steps in solving this problem.  Explain your reasoning.

Janet wants to buy a digital camera that costs $249.  She has $24 already and wants to save the rest in equal amounts for 5 weeks.  How much must she save each week in order to buy the camera?

This is similar to an ARMT style open ended question. I know you might not be able to show your work like you would on paper, so try to explain in words what you would do. Then, answer in a complete sentence. Good luck!

Janet needs 225 more dollars and if she wants to save this for five weeks in equal amounts she would save 45 dollars a week.

Is everyone just going to agree with Clay?

    Clay,

You are exactly right! Great job. You remembered that you need to do 2 steps. You have to subtract first, then divide. Well done!

Janet needs 225 more dollars and if she wants to save that much she will
have to save $45 each week.
